About Shari Aldrich

Movement Is Life…
Stillness is Death.

Prior to massage therapy school, I thought I would die before the age of 40...

I had good reason to believe this.

  • My brother died in 1997 from a stroke – he was 36.
  • Three years later, we lost our mom to lung cancer – she was 59. We got her
diagnosis on Saturday and she died
    on Monday.
  • 4 years later, my older sister died in a head-on collision at 39 years old.

The sad truth is that half of my family died in 7 short years…

Pre-massage, I was an IT Director suffering from daily headaches and stress due to overwork. I took between 10-12 ibuprofen every day just to get by.

I discovered massage therapy when I was training for my first marathon in 2004. The minute hands were placed upon my back I had an epiphany that massage is what I had been looking for my whole life.

I became a licensed massage therapist in 2006 and fell in love with educating students on the gifts of massage therapy soon after.

In 2009, I found out that my beloved Bodymechanics School of Myotherapy & Massage was closing down. I took the risk and decided to purchase and resuscitate the school (it was the “worst time to invest in a business” due to the economy)… and yet, it was the best decision of my life.

Since then we’ve gone on to become a national authority in massage education and business building, helping thousands of students access a dream life that they never before thought possible.

I believe that Movement is Life - and you have to keep moving
forward, no matter what.

Today my mission is to help you create the life you’ve always wished for. Whether that is through succeeding in the massage therapy industry or finding a pain-free path that nourishes your soul.

You can play bigger than you ever thought possible. I’m here to show you every step of the way, to share every tool I’ve learned on my journey so you can gain the courage and confidence to succeed.
